Why AT&T Charges Early Termination Fees (ETF)?

Provider like AT&T offer service agreements on numerous devices and wireless connections at discounts.

When a consumer chooses to leave the agreement in between, this can cause losses to the Company.

The business will not be able to cover the cost spent on a consumer. This is the reason AT&T charges ETF.

However, however if discovered from the client’s perspective it is a huge and unnecessary expense. Normally, these termination charges are rather heavy and not practical.

Clients usually would want to leave service for different reasons. But out of them all, the major one is unsatisfactory service.

I’ll tell my story about U-Verse service cancellation:
First – I tried called ahead of time during non-busy hours, but they informed me I needed to wait a couple more days if I don’t desire a $15 early termination penalty. (I can’t make a cancel request ahead of time). OK, I waited a number of days and tried cancelling through chat, and they’re telling me to call the general number. Super! ((( After I was back on the phone and waited about half an hour without action!
I tried next day again and now I live without u-verse …
    Not easy procedure…
Hope it will be helpful… Ann
