My Asus Laptop Charger Doesn’t Work

Laptop doesn’t charge the battery, but the charger is plugged in? If the laptop does not charge the battery and the charge is plugged in, most users tend to change the battery. 12. Turn the notebook on in the usual way.

You can check whether this has helped by hovering your mouse over the battery icon in the tray. The message “connected, charging” should appear.

Uninstalling utilities

Some laptop manufacturers install utilities on devices that monitor the status of charging. Determining why the battery is not charging if the problem is a program is simple – the battery icon in the tray is different from other system marks. To remove it, you need to:

1. Open Start – All Applications – Control Panel.
2. Select “Programs and components”.
3. In the list that appears, find the “harmful” utility and select.
